Over 300 students in Edgebrook, St. Mary of the Woods, and Wildwood schools participated in the contest. Guided by their teachers, they produced many delightful posters based on the theme of Let Freedom Ring.
Here are the winning entries.
Grace | Grade 3
My picture is about Fourth of July fireworks and the flag.
Antonio | Grade 3
I drew this because our main animal is an eagle with our flag.
Caroline | Grade 3
I think the Declaration of Independence signals freedom because it is something that was signed for our freedom. I drew the liberty bells because the theme was Let Freedom Ring, and the first thing that popped into my head – bells! I drew the American flag because it is a symbol to our country and to all the people who live here. That is what Let Freedom Ring means to me.
Jack | Grade 1
This is at night on the 4th of July.
